Nick Bustos, PhD, LMFT, serves as an Associate Professor and Core Faculty member in the Integral Counseling Psychology program at the California Institute of Integral Studies since May 2020. In addition to this role, Nick holds a position as Adjunct Faculty in the MCP/ICP Program. Since February 2018, Nick has been a Core Faculty member and Dean of Student Life at the California Institute for Human Science. Nick has also worked as a District Therapist for the Temecula Valley Unified School District since April 2015 and maintains a private practice providing individual, couples, and family therapy. Prior experience includes roles as a Therapist/Case Manager and Wraparound Therapist at Oak Grove Center, a Behavior Specialist/MFT Intern at Able Pathways, and a Psychotherapist/MFT Intern at Genesis/Loaves & Fishes in Sacramento. Nick earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Clinical Psychology/Integral Psychology from the California Institute for Human Science and holds a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from the University of San Francisco, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of the Pacific.
