Walter Sipe M.D.

Walter Sipe MD serves as an Associate Clinical Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at UCSF Health since July 2011, with a parallel role as an Associate Clinical Professor in Pediatric Gastroenterology at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospitals since November 2011. Walter also holds the position of Clinical Advisor at Mahana and is a Program Instructor for the Core Clinical Skills in the Sex Therapy Certificate Program at the California Institute of Integral Studies. Prior experience includes a Research Fellowship at the UCSF Center for the Neurobiology of Digestive Diseases from 2005 to 2008. Walter's academic credentials include an A.B. in Psychology from Harvard University and a medical degree from UC San Diego School of Medicine, complemented by training at Harvard Medical School and Boston University.
