Brooke Keesling holds extensive experience in animation and education, currently serving as an active member of the Short Films and Feature Animation branch at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences since August 2022 and the Children's Programming and Animation branches at the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences since September 2021. Keesling has been an instructor in the Character Animation department at the California Institute of the Arts since September 2010 and has held various leadership roles, including Vice President of ASIFA Hollywood and Head of Animation Talent Development at Bento Box Entertainment LLC. Previous positions include Director of Community and Culture at The Animation Guild, Director of Animation Talent Development at Disney Television Animation, and Manager of Animation Talent Development at Cartoon Network. Keesling's educational background includes an MFA in Animation from the California Institute of the Arts and a BA in Art History and Natural Science Illustration from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
