Henderson Blumer is an accomplished arts professional with extensive experience in engagement programming and event coordination. Currently serving as the Associate Director of Engagement Programming at the California Institute of the Arts since March 2021, Henderson has previously held various roles at the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) from November 2016 to June 2020, including Curatorial Administrator and Visitor Experience Lead. Additional experience includes positions at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, South Bay Art Department, Otis College of Art and Design, and UC San Diego, where responsibilities ranged from gallery assistance to special event coordination. Henderson holds a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) from Otis College of Art and Design and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Fine and Studio Arts from UC San Diego.
