Karolyn Heimes

Karolyn Heimes is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in alumni engagement and event management at the California Institute of the Arts since July 2011. As the Director of Alumni Engagement, responsibilities include planning and project managing alumni programs and overseeing special events, such as the 50th Anniversary Kick Off Event and Reunion Weekend. Prior roles include Associate Director of Alumni and Parent Engagement, where Karolyn developed an Alumni-to-Alumni Mentor Program and led various community programming initiatives in collaboration with industry partners. Previous experience encompasses development and administrative roles at organizations like Vocational Visions and The Muckenthaler Cultural Center Foundation, with a strong background in fundraising, marketing, and volunteer management. Educational credentials include studies at UCLA and Fullerton College, culminating in an A.A. in Liberal Studies.
