Royal Dawson De Quiroz has extensive experience in higher education administration and institutional effectiveness. Currently serving as the Executive Director of Institutional Effectiveness at the California Institute of the Arts since July 2022, Royal has previously held significant roles such as Director of Enrollment Analytics at the University of La Verne and Director of Institutional Effectiveness at KGI. Royal's consulting work with RNI includes the development of a contact tracking system for the Phillip J. Rock School for the Deaf and Blind. During a lengthy tenure at Columbia College Chicago, Royal oversaw the creation of dashboards to enhance evidence-based decision-making. Royal's earlier experience includes serving as a Senior Analyst at Human Capital Research Corporation, where various strategies for guiding direct marketing efforts were developed, and as a Constituent Aide for Senator Carol Moseley-Braun, facilitating communication between public and executive agencies. Royal holds a Master of Arts in Political Science and Government from Roosevelt University and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Middle Tennessee State University.
