Rachel Efron

Rachel Efron is a seasoned singer, songwriter, producer, and songwriting coach with extensive experience in the music industry. Currently at Whisper Track Records since 2006, Rachel specializes in edgy yet heartfelt piano-driven alt-pop, drawing inspiration from artists like The Beatles, Tom Waits, and contemporary jazz influences. Rachel also serves as the Creator and Director of the Young Adult Songwriters Program at West Coast Songwriters, where Rachel conducts talks, offers consultations, and judges competitions. Additionally, Rachel educates aspiring songwriters at the California Jazz Conservatory and provides workshops for voice instructors at the Institute for Vocal Advancement. A graduate of Harvard University, Rachel earned a Bachelor's degree in Social Anthropology from 1997 to 2001.

California Jazz Conservatory

The California Jazz Conservatory is a private music school in Berkeley, California. It is the only independent music conservatory in the United States devoted solely to jazz and related styles of music. Located in the Downtown Berkeley Arts District, the CJC offers Associate’s, Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Jazz Studies. The Conservatory also offers community education classes and workshops for instrumentalists and vocalists and precollege youth programs for beginning, intermediate and advanced musicians.
