Anthony Theissen currently serves as the Director of Federal Government Relations at California Life Sciences (CLS) since May 2023. Prior to this role, Anthony worked in the United States Senate from March 2021 to February 2023 as a Health Policy Advisor and previously as a Health Legislative Aide. Anthony's experience in legislative roles also includes a tenure at the U.S. House of Representatives from October 2015 to March 2021, where positions included Senior Legislative Assistant, Legislative Assistant, Legislative Aide, Staff Assistant, and Legislative Intern. Additionally, Anthony interned at PACE, LLP in the summer of 2015. Anthony holds a BA in Political Science from UC Santa Barbara and completed a transfer program in Economics at Ventura College.
