Johnson Yang

Program Manager, Innovation & Entrepreneurship at California Life Sciences

Johnson joined California Life Sciences (CLS) in March 2020. Currently, he manages entrepreneurial programs, such as the FAST Advisory Program, and the International FAST Program, as well as Partnering Days, BioGENEius, and CLS’s social media efforts. Prior to joining CLS, Johnson served as a visiting CIRM fellow for two years at Stanford University, where he gained tremendous experience in stem cell translational research. Johnson completed his bachelor’s degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology at San Francisco State University. Most recently, Johnson received his master’s degree in Biological Science, with an emphasis on Stem Cells. Johnson hopes to apply his skills to help bridge the gap between business and biological life science.
