Gerhard Apfelthaler

Gerhard Apfelthaler is an accomplished academic and entrepreneur with extensive experience in higher education and organizational development. Since August 2010, Gerhard has served as an External Reviewer for the Oman Authority for Academic Accreditation and Quality Assurance (OAAAQA). As Dean of the School of Management at California Lutheran University since 2009, Gerhard has focused on strategic development and leadership in higher education. Gerhard's roles also include Professor and Associate Dean for Graduate Programs, mentor at Oppi, Co-Founder and Review Board Member of the European Journal of International Management, and founder of the non-profit Start-Up Kids. Additionally, Gerhard has contributed to economic growth through board memberships with organizations such as the Economic Development Collaborative-Ventura County and Hub101. Gerhard is a Founding Partner at Oak Therapeutics and serves as Executive Advisor at CURE Pharmaceutical Corp. Gerhard holds a Ph.D. in Cross-Cultural Management from WU Vienna and multiple degrees in Business Administration and Chinese Studies.
