Gabor Vari

Dr. Vari is CME’s co-founder and a widely respected thought leader in the California medical-legal community. After serving as CEO until January 2022, Dr. Vari is currently an operating advisor to various private equity firms and operating companies.

Dr. Vari graduated from Brown University with an undergraduate degree in Biology. He holds a medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine where he earned the Strecker award as the most outstanding medical student entering the field of psychiatry.

Dr. Vari then completed his residency in psychiatry at UCLA where he served as chief resident of the bipolar disorders clinic. Prior to focusing on the management of CME, Dr. Vari served as a Qualified Medical Examiner conducting hundreds of workers’ compensation evaluations.

Dr. Vari is a former 2 time Jeopardy champion. In his spare time, he enjoys cheering on his beloved Philadelphia Flyers, poker, and reading.
