Nivedita Meethan

Nivedita Meethan is a seasoned professional in public health and epidemiology, currently serving as a Project Manager at California Mental Health Services Authority since January 2023. Previously, Nivedita worked for the County of Monterey as a Public Health Epidemiologist in the Behavioral Health Bureau, where responsibilities included leading health economic outcomes research and acting as a liaison to enhance data reporting efficiency. Earlier roles include serving as a Research Assistant at the Johns Hopkins Center for Communication Programs and an Epidemiologist Intern at the Baltimore City Health Department. Nivedita holds a Master of Public Health from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from Government Medical College, Kozhikkode. Additional experience includes working as a General Practitioner and a Medical Officer for the National Rural Health Mission in India, combining clinical practice with public health strategy development.
