Kari A. Dietrich

Kari A. Dietrich has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Starting in 2008, Kari worked as a Community Support Facilitator and Supervisor at Options in Supported Living, where they were responsible for staff management, scheduling, payroll, and coordinating various administrative tasks. In 2013, they became an MFT Intern at The Place Within, assisting clients with emotional and functional difficulties, substance abuse, weight loss, and disability support. Kari A. then joined ResCare in 2015 as a Program Manager, overseeing facilities in Northern California for the developmental delay population, focusing on healthcare and behavioral services. Kari also served as a Program Co-Chair Board Member in 2014 at Sacramento Valley CAMFT, organizing trainings and networking opportunities for therapists. Additionally, Kari worked as a Group Clinician at BHC Heritage Oaks Hospital, conducting therapy sessions using Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. In 2014, they started working as an MFT Registered Intern at LifeSTAR Sacramento, helping individuals and couples in recovery find emotional clarity and peaceful solutions. Most recently, Kari has been employed as a Program Director and Administrator at California MENTOR since 2018.

Kari A. Dietrich has a Master's Degree in Counseling Marriage and Family Therapy, which was obtained from the University of Phoenix-Sacramento Valley Campus from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Psychology from the University of California, Davis from 2004 to 2006. Additionally, they completed their undergraduate work for an Associate of Arts (AA) degree at Sierra College from 1999 to 2006. At Sierra College, they also pursued a wide range of subjects including Chemistry, Math, Physics, and Biology, leading to an Associate of Science (AS) degree. In terms of certifications, they obtained CPR and First Aid certification from the American Red Cross in May 2015.
