Helen Yee

Helen Yee has over 15 years of nonprofit board experience, bringing expertise on professional fundraising and event coordination to her tenure of service.

Since 2008, Helen has been the development officer and events manager for Youth Development Network. Previously, she was actively involved in several major gifts and capital campaigns for Hospice of San Joaquin, Belle Coolidge Library and the Asian Community Center.

Helen has served in several leadership positions, including Chair of the Sacramento Public Library Foundation and its Board Development Committee, Committee of Dental Auxiliaries and the State Board of Dental Examiners. As Chair of “Libraries for the Future” for the Sacramento Public Library Foundation, Helen oversaw the passage of a ballot measure that brought millions of dollars of increased funding to the Sacramento Public Libraries.

Prior to work with nonprofits, Helen was successful with opening various retail stores, including Sanrio Surprises and Papyrus in Arden Fair Mall.
