Michael Ueltzen

Trustee at California Museum

Michael Ueltzen is a Partner with the international CPA firm of EisnerAmper, LLP where his practice focuses on complex forensic accounting matters and disputes throughout the United States. Mike is also an Adjunct Faculty member of the University of California at Davis – Graduate School of Management. Mike is a Certified Public Accountant, is Certified in Financial Forensics, and is a Certified Fraud Examiner.

Mike is a Past President of the California Society of CPAs (“CalCPA”) and received the Distinguished Service Award in 2002 from the organization. Mike has chaired several committees with the CalCPA including the Government Relations Committee for many years. Mike is currently the Chair of the National Accreditation Commission of the American Institute of CPAs and has held other leadership positions with the national organization.

In addition to the California Museum where he serves as Chair of the Finance and Audit Committee, Mike is currently a member of the California Music Theater Foundation and previously served as President of BloodSource, a large California nonprofit blood bank, where he was active as a Board member in multiple positions for 20 years.

Mike is a graduate of the California State University at Sacramento with both a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and a Master of Business Administration degree.
