Ann-Marie Benz serves as the Horticulture Programs Manager for the California Native Plant Society since March 2020, while also working as a non-profit contractor since April 2018, aiding environmental and art organizations with planning, grant writing, and interim executive director roles. Previously, Benz was the Program Manager at CASSS – Sharing Science Solutions, where management of complex conference logistics and facilitation of diverse volunteer groups occurred. As Executive Director of ReScape California, stabilization and restructuring of the organization took place, addressing budget and staffing. Benz also held roles as Outreach and Communication Director and Watershed Program Coordinator at Prescott Creeks, focusing on marketing and the management of stormwater projects, respectively. Earlier experience includes consulting and working as a Job Cost Accountant at URS / Banshee Construction, contributing to project cost tracking and payroll processing. Educational background includes studies at Prescott College and graduation from Rim of the World High School in Lake Arrowhead, CA.
