Elizabeth B. Lozano, Ph.D., currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Psychology & Sociology at California Northstate University since August 2021. Previously, Elizabeth was a Teaching Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from August 2016 to July 2021, where responsibilities included teaching courses such as Intro to Social Psychology and Intro to Psychology, as well as developing online course materials. Elizabeth also held the position of Project Coordinator for the Developmental Social Neuroscience Lab, managing a federally funded NIH study focused on adolescent neural development. Earlier roles included Graduate Assistant at the Center for Access and Success, supporting students with disabilities, and Teaching Assistant in the Department of Psychology. Elizabeth holds a Ph.D. in Social/Personality Psychology, and additional degrees in Psychology with a focus in Experimental Psychology.
