Michael S. Wong

Michael S. Wong, MD, MBA, FACS, serves as the Founding Surgeon and Aesthetics Fellowship Director at Prime Plastic Surgery & Med Spa since June 2021. Additionally, Michael occupies the role of Professor of Surgery, Associate Dean of Academic & Career Advising, and Vice President of Clinical Practice at California Northstate University, and holds the title of Professor Emeritus in the Department of Surgery at the University of California, Davis Medical Center. Prior roles include serving as a Professor of Surgery in the Division of Plastic Surgery at UC Davis Medical Center from August 2002 to December 2020 and President of the California Society of Plastic Surgeons from May 2018 to June 2019. Michael's academic credentials include an Executive MBA from The Wharton School, a Doctor of Medicine from Tufts University School of Medicine, and a General Surgery Residency at Duke University School of Medicine. An undergraduate degree in Biomedical Physics and Asian Studies was earned at the University of California, Berkeley.
