CALIFORNIA PHYSICAL THERAPY ASSOCIATION
Michael S. Simpson, PT, DPT, CCS, serves as the Director of Clinical Education and Associate Professor of Clinical Physical Therapy at the University of Southern California since August 2006, where previous roles included Clinical Director of Physical Therapy and Assistant Professor. In addition to their academic role, Simpson is the Chief Delegate for the California Physical Therapy Association since January 2019 and has been an APTA Level I Credentialed Clinical Trainer with the American Physical Therapy Association since October 2013, where Michael S. was also a member and delegate from 1994 to 2013. Previously, Simpson worked as a Senior III Physical Therapist at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center from January 2005 to August 2006 and as a Physical Therapist at Penn Medicine (University of Pennsylvania Health System) from 1994 to 2003. Simpson holds a Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Southern California and a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Neumann University.
