James Stephens

James Stephens, CPA, currently serves as Controller for California Professional Firefighters, a position held since July 2025. Prior to this role, James was the Corporate Controller at Monte Vista Farming Company from July 2023 to July 2025. From August 2014 to July 2023, James gained extensive experience at EY, progressing through roles from Assurance Staff to Assurance Senior Manager. Earlier in career, James worked as a Dispatcher at The Dependable Companies from April 2006 to July 2014 and as a Regional Sales Account Manager at PDSI from June 2003 to April 2006. James holds a degree in Accounting from California State University-Sacramento, earned between 2010 and 2013.
