Travis Ransom

Travis Ransom is currently the Director of Corporate Planning at California Resources Corporation, a role initiated in July 2024, where responsibilities include leading corporate planning functions after the merger with Aera Energy, focusing on asset integration and high-impact investment strategies. Prior to this position, Ransom spent over 15 years at Aera Energy LLC in various leadership roles, including Senior Leader of Portfolio Management and Reserves, overseeing production forecasting and upstream portfolio management, as well as Senior Leader of Water Resources & Permitting, where corporate strategies around water resources were developed. Ransom has also held managerial roles focused on maximizing recovery in light oil fields and has experience as a Reservoir Engineer Intern and Petroleum Engineer Intern, providing a solid foundation in petroleum engineering. Ransom earned a Bachelor's Degree in Petroleum Engineering with a Minor in Economics and Business from the Colorado School of Mines.
