Madelyn Alfano

Madelyn Alfano has extensive experience in the restaurant industry, serving as President of Maria's Italian Kitchen since October 1985, a casual neighborhood restaurant known for its homemade southern Italian cuisine with eight locations. Additionally, Madelyn has been the Chairperson of the California Restaurant Association since September 2019, representing a significant portion of California's restaurants, particularly those owned by minorities and people of color. Earlier in their career, Madelyn founded and owned Maria's International Deli from July 1980 to January 1986. Madelyn holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Business Education in Entrepreneurship from UCLA and the UCLA Anderson School of Management, respectively.
