Leticia Casillas Luquin

Leticia Casillas Luquin is an accomplished legal professional with a focus on environmental justice and policy advocacy. Currently serving as an Environmental Justice Fellow at California Rural Legal Assistance, Inc. since February 2023, Leticia previously worked as a Policy Advocate for Leadership Counsel for Justice and Accountability from October 2021 to May 2022. Leticia has also gained valuable experience as a Summer Legal Intern with the California Department of Justice, focusing on Criminal Appeals, Writs, and Trials in June 2020. Other notable roles include serving as a Summer Research Assistant for Dean Kevin R. Johnson and a Legal Intern for the UC Davis Immigration Clinic at the University of California, Davis - School of Law from June 2019 to August 2020, as well as completing internships with American Bar Association ProBAR and Center for Workers' Rights. Leticia holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of California, Davis - School of Law and a Bachelor's degree in English Literature and Political Science from California State University, Stanislaus.
