Steven Cong is currently the Senior Program Manager at Rising Sun Center for Opportunity's Climate Careers Bay Area. Prior to this role, Steven held positions at organizations such as Juma Ventures and Public Allies Silicon Valley / San Francisco, where Steven managed various programs, recruited youths, developed curriculum, and facilitated trainings. Steven also has experience as a Teaching Assistant at UCLA and as an Outreach and Communications Coordinator at the Oakland Asian Cultural Center. Steven holds a Master of Arts in Asian American Studies from UCLA and a degree in Asian American and Asian Diaspora Studies from the University of California, Berkeley.

We accomplish this mission through our focus on fostering professional connections, enhancing competency, and building a community of leaders. Our vision is that afterschool and school-age care programs will be a public priority throughout California. Through our leadership, out-of-school time professionals and programs will be valued — like teachers and schools — as an essential service supported by government, business and community resources.
