Rachel Wells

Rachel Wells is a seasoned professional in campaign management and strategic communication, currently serving as Principal at Rachel Wells Consulting since July 2023, where consulting services are provided to individuals and nonprofit organizations. In addition, Rachel is the campaign manager for Monica Martinez's candidacy for Santa Cruz County 5th District Supervisor in 2024. As a Public Affairs and Community Engagement Representative at the California School Boards Association since January 2022, Rachel facilitates connections between educational leaders and legislators, engages community members in policy discussions, and advocates for association positions. Previous experience includes outreach work for the California High-Speed Rail Authority, district management at the California State Senate, and campaign management for a water district board election. Rachel holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Whittier College, earned in 2014.
