Alec Meden

Alec Meden is a Creative Writing Teacher at California School of the Arts - San Gabriel Valley since August 2021, focusing on teaching creative writing to conservatory students. Previously, Alec served as a Support Teacher at Seattle Nativity School from July 2018 to May 2019, teaching Physical Education and Art while providing additional support in various classes. Additionally, Alec volunteered with the Alumni Service Corps at Seattle Preparatory School from August 2017 to June 2018, offering assistance in Film classes and supporting the Alumni Development Office and Learning Resource Center. Alec holds a Master’s degree in Creative Writing from Chapman University (January 2020 - May 2022) and a degree in Screenwriting & Creative Writing as well as Arts, Entertainment, and Media Management from Chapman University (2013 - 2017).

California School of the Arts – San Gabriel Valley (CSArts-SGV) is a public charter school that provides its students with a creative, challenging, and nurturing environment while offering a rigorous college-preparatory education and pre-professional arts conservatory training.
