Fatima Yanez Ruiz

Fatima Yanez Ruiz is an experienced educator with a focus on Spanish language instruction, currently serving as a High School Spanish Teacher at California School of the Arts - San Gabriel Valley since December 2021. Prior to this role, Fatima held teaching positions at The School of Arts and Enterprise and City Honors College Preparatory Academy, where Spanish language instruction was the primary responsibility. Fatima also contributed as a tutor at The Learning Connection and worked as an Outreach Coordinator for Latin American Perspectives. Fatima holds a Master of Arts in Spanish Language Teacher Education from Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca, a Single Subject Credential in Spanish Language Teacher Education from California State University, Long Beach, and a Bachelor’s degree in Latin American Studies and Anthropology from University of California, Riverside.
