Teod Tomlinson is an experienced Visual Arts Instructor at California School of the Arts - San Gabriel Valley since August 2017, focusing on various artistic disciplines including animation, ceramics, and painting. As an independent artist and animator since June 1991, Teod has showcased work in galleries and participated in numerous exhibitions, notably serving as a Resident Artist at The Hive Gallery from 2012 to 2022. Teod has held academic positions as a Professor at The Art Institutes, Mt Sierra College, and Platt College, where responsibilities included teaching diverse subjects related to digital and traditional arts. Additional experience includes facilitating arts education workshops for at-risk youth at artworxLA and a brief stint as a 3D VFX Artist at iO Film. Teod holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts with honors in Illustration and Animation from ArtCenter College of Design.

California School of the Arts – San Gabriel Valley (CSArts-SGV) is a public charter school that provides its students with a creative, challenging, and nurturing environment while offering a rigorous college-preparatory education and pre-professional arts conservatory training. This distinctive arts and academic program is made possible through a unique public-private partnership. CSArts-SGV is a tuition-free, donation dependent program. CSArts-SGV is an expansion of the award-winning arts and academic programs of Orange County School of the Arts, one of the premier art schools in the country.
