Ellen Sampong is an experienced educator and administrator with a strong background in English instruction and law education. Currently serving as a Teacher of English at CHAFFEY since October 2012, Ellen has demonstrated exceptional communication skills and an inclusive approach in engaging with diverse stakeholders. As the Dean of the School of Law at California Southern University since 2007, Ellen has significantly improved pass rates by 50%, launched five new graduate programs, and achieved a faculty satisfaction rate of 90%, while overseeing the operations to cater to a diverse student body. Prior experience includes roles as an Adjunct English Instructor at Chaffey Adult School and as Faculty, Department Head, and Director of Education at Platt College, where Ellen managed the education department and taught paralegal law courses. Ellen holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from Texas Southern University—Thurgood Marshall School of Law.
