Omar Hayat

Omar Hayat is an experienced professional in the oil and natural gas industry, currently serving as Vice President of Operations at California Resources Corporation, the largest producer of oil and natural gas in California. In addition, Omar Hayat holds a position as a Foundation Board Member at California State University, Bakersfield. Prior roles include various managerial responsibilities at Occidental Petroleum and technical and supervisory positions at Aera Energy LLC, as well as engineering experience at Engro Corp. Educational qualifications include an M.B.A. from UCLA Anderson School of Management, an M.S. in Petroleum Engineering from Stanford University, and a BSc in Metallurgy and Materials Engineering from Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences & Technology.
