Shelby Parker

Shelby Parker is a seasoned marketing and communications specialist with extensive experience in social media management, content creation, and community engagement. Currently serving as a Marketing and Communications Specialist at California State University, Bakersfield, Shelby leads social media initiatives to connect the university with the local community. Additional roles include volunteer writing for Proverbs 31 Ministries and previously working as a Communications Lead at New Life Church. Past experience encompasses editing, writing, and photography positions at Bakersfield Life Magazine, Charizma Co, and other organizations. Shelby holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from California State University, Bakersfield, and an Associate’s Degree from Taft College.
