Mason Stockstill

Mason Stockstill serves as the Director of Communications at California State University-Dominguez Hills, where responsibilities include planning and leading communications strategies, overseeing content for various university platforms. Prior to this role, Mason held several positions at Loyola Marymount University, including Interim Director of Media and Public Relations, where comprehensive reviews of team structures and initiatives that significantly increased media coverage were conducted. Additional experience includes leadership roles in public affairs and communications at SEIU UHW, as well as a background in journalism with the Los Angeles Newspaper Group, The Associated Press, and City News Service of Los Angeles Inc. Mason holds a BA in American Literature and Culture from UCLA, an MFA in English and Creative Writing from Mills College, and a Public Leadership Credential in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School.
