Jim Lake

Jim Lake is an experienced professional in operations leadership with over 25 years in the hospitality and tourism industry. Currently serving as an Adjunct Professor at Cal State Fullerton since August 2010, Jim focuses on the School of Management's Hospitality & Tourism program. Previous roles include President at SeaWorld and Sesame Place in San Diego from November 2021 to March 2024, and General Manager of Disneyland Park East at Walt Disney Parks & Resorts from September 2017 to December 2021. Jim’s extensive background includes key positions at Disney, including Park Operations Line of Business from January 2011 to March 2015 and Operations Manager at Disneyland Resort from August 2006 to February 2011. Jim also held the role of Director of Operations at Palace Entertainment from October 2003 to August 2006. Educationally, Jim holds a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts from Oregon State University and a Master's degree in Organizational Leadership from Biola University.
