Arturo Rubin Zavala

Arturo Rubin Zavala currently serves as a Graduate Advisor and Professor in the Department of Psychology at California State University, Long Beach, since January 2008. Additionally, Arturo holds leadership roles as Co-Director of the Research Enrichment Core and the Institutional Development Core for the CSULB NIH BUILD program, focusing on enhancing research capacity and infrastructure. Since June 2023, Arturo has been the Faculty Director of the Pre-Professor Program at the California State University Office of the Chancellor and has been involved with the CSU BRAIN Alliance as the Founding Director since June 2020. Arturo is also a Steering Committee Member for the National Hispanic Science Network, contributing to the scientific community. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Behavioral Neuroscience from Arizona State University and both a Master's and Bachelor's degree in psychology from California State University-San Bernardino.
