Charlenne Medina

Charlenne Medina, EdD, MA, ATC, NREMT, currently serves as an EMT Skills Instructor and Assistant Athletic Trainer at California State University, Long Beach since August 2013, advancing to full-time roles in women's basketball and tennis. Previous experience includes positions as Event Management Supervisor and Women's Basketball Head Team Manager at Select Medical from October 2019 to January 2023, and Patient Care Specialist at PREMIER AMBULANCE SERVICE INC. Charlenne Medina also held the role of Emergency Medical Technician with West Coast Sports Medicine and was a Substitute Athletic Trainer with Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District. Additional experience includes guest services and event management with the Los Angeles Chargers. Academic qualifications include a Master of Arts in Sport Management and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology - Athletic Training from California State University, Long Beach, and a Doctor of Education in Leadership - Health Care from Rockhurst University, expected to complete in May 2025.
