Chris Reese

Chris Reese is an experienced professional in university and community relations, currently serving as the Associate Vice President for University Relations at California State University, Long Beach since April 2019. In this role, Chris oversees efforts to advance higher education advocacy by collaborating with public officials, business leaders, and alumni. Previously, Chris was the Vice President of Workforce and Economic Development at the Orange County Business Council, where responsibilities included managing workforce initiatives and business retention strategies. Chris also held significant roles at California State University, Fullerton, including Executive Director of Corporate and Community Outreach and Director of State & Community Relations, as well as serving as an adjunct professor in political science. Early in the career, Chris gained experience as the Executive Vice President at Iger & Associates and as a Senior Field Representative for Assemblywoman Lynn Daucher. Chris holds a Master of Public Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from California State University, Fullerton.
