Gabriela Castaneda

Gabriela Castaneda, Ed.D., is an accomplished leader in higher education with extensive experience at Chapman University since May 2016, currently serving as Vice President and previously holding roles such as Assistant Vice President for DEI and Director for Hispanic/Latinx Achievement. Castaneda also contributes as a Board of Trustees member for Charitable Ventures and the World Affairs Council of Orange County. A lecturer at California State University, Long Beach, and California State University, Fullerton, Castaneda's expertise extends to employer relations and leadership development, evidenced by participation in the National Association of Colleges and Employers and the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities Leadership Academy. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from California State University, Long Beach, along with multiple degrees and certificates in higher education and psychology from various institutions.
