Joanna Zendejas

Joanna Zendejas is an experienced instructional designer and art educator currently employed at California State University, Long Beach since May 2023. Previously, Joanna served as an art educator at Anderson W. Clark Magnet High School from August 2019 to June 2021, where curriculum was developed based on National Core Arts Standards and data-driven improvements were made through feedback collection. Prior to this role, Joanna worked at Alliance College-Ready Public Schools from August 2014 to June 2019, creating AP Studio and Art 2-D design curricula while leading professional development initiatives focused on effective teaching. Joanna holds a Master of Arts in Educational Technology Leadership from California State University, Los Angeles, and a Bachelor of Arts in Art Teacher Education from California State University, Long Beach.
