John Becker

John Becker is an accomplished academic with a focus on philosophy and religious studies. Currently serving as a Lecturer at California State University, Long Beach since July 2023, John has previously held positions as an Instructor at Loyola Marymount University and as an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Lyon College, where John also served as a Visiting Assistant Professor. Prior experience includes roles as an Adjunct Professor at the University of the West and part-time faculty at Loyola Marymount University. John Becker earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Philosophy and Religious Studies from Claremont School of Theology and a Master of Arts (MA) in History from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona.
