Matt Brown

Matt Brown is an experienced play-by-play broadcaster currently serving as the voice of select athletic events at the University of Southern California since March 2025, with prior roles that include ESPN play-by-play broadcaster for California State University-Long Beach, where highlights include coverage of a top 25 baseball team and back-to-back NCAA Men's Volleyball National Championship matches. With a background in production and media, Matt has held various positions including producer and video editor at S-Tier Media, ESPN play-by-play broadcaster and sideline reporter for Big West Productions, and associate producer and web content host for Ultimate Media Ventures. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Broadcast Journalism from Chapman University, where Matt also served as sports producer and director for the university’s athletic broadcasts.
