Paul Henderson

Paul Henderson, PhD, serves as the Executive Director of University Academic Advisement at California State University, Long Beach, since July 2020, overseeing strategic leadership for academic advising units and managing a team of 28. Previously, Paul held the position of Director for Exploratory Advising & First Year Experience at Purdue University Northwest from June 2018 to July 2020, where strategic leadership was provided for various academic support programs, including the design of a first-year experience curriculum. Other roles include Realtor at Keller Williams Premiere Properties and Director of Student Activities and First Year Programs at Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar, among others. Paul earned a PhD from Southern Illinois University, a Master of Sport Science from United States Sports University, and a Bachelor of Arts from Morehouse College.
