Sara M. Ozuna is an experienced educator and researcher with over 10 years of expertise in education, critical theory, and behavioral health. Currently serving as the Developing Hispanic Serving Institutes (HSI) Culturally Responsive Practices Coordinator and Adjunct Faculty at California State University, Los Angeles, Sara also coordinates the Urban Learning Bilingual Pathway Expansion Grant and oversees the Urban Learning Program. Previous roles include Reading Specialist at PRIDE Reading Program and various research positions at USC Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work, focusing on clinical trials and veteran studies. Sara holds a Master of Education in Sociological Foundations of Education and is pursuing a Doctor of Education in Post Secondary Educational Leadership.
