Keila Medina

Keila Medina is currently serving as the Guest Relations and Campus Tours Coordinator at California State University, Northridge, where responsibilities include coordinating campus tours for various student populations. Previously, at New York University, Keila worked as an Undergraduate Admissions Graduate Assistant, evaluating first-year applications and participating in the admissions committee process. As a Student Engagement Support Member for AmeriCorps, outreach efforts were directed at K-12 students facing disengagement due to COVID-19 challenges. In the TRIO Upward Bound Program, Keila mentored high school students and promoted higher education through various campus tours and cultural field trips. Additional experience includes serving as an Outreach Specialist for CSUN Student Outreach and Recruitment and as a Peer Educator at the CSUN Career Center, aiding students with career preparations. Keila holds a Master of Arts in Higher Education and Student Affairs from New York University and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from California State University, Northridge.
