Shefali Mistry

Shefali Mistry currently serves as the Associate Vice President for Government and Community Relations at California State University, Northridge, a position held since November 2022. Prior to this role, Mistry worked at the California State University Office of the Chancellor from 2016 to 2022 as the Manager of University Relations & Advocacy, where responsibilities included developing advocacy strategies and managing government relations for 23 CSU campuses. Mistry also has experience in alumni relations, having held positions at California State University-Long Beach and Otis College of Art and Design, focusing on engagement and communications. Additional experience includes roles in art and culture organizations, event planning, and political organizing. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Fine Arts from California State University, Long Beach, and a Master of Fine Arts in Public Practice from Otis College of Art and Design.
