Viridiana Diaz

Viridiana Diaz, Ed.D., currently serves as the Vice President for Student Affairs at California State University San Marcos, a position held since January 2022. Prior to this role, Viridiana Diaz spent 18 years at California State University-Sacramento, where various titles included Associate Vice President for Strategic Student Support Programs and Assistant Vice President for Strategic Diversity Initiatives. Earlier in the career at California State University-Sacramento, roles included Director of the College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP) and Co-Director of the DEGREES Project, among others. Viridiana Diaz also held the position of President of the National HEP/CAMP Association from June 2017 to July 2019. Educational credentials include a Doctorate in Educational Leadership and Policy with a concentration in Higher Education from California State University-Sacramento, alongside multiple master's degrees and a bachelor's degree in Communication Studies.
