Ataman Mehmet

Ataman Mehmet is an experienced manager in the steel industry, currently serving as the Manager of Hot Rolling & Strip Finishing at California Steel Industries, Inc. since June 2019. Previously, Ataman held the position of Division Manager of Operating Technology Hot Rolling & Finishing at ArcelorMittal since September 2014, and has also worked as the Continuous Caster Area Manager and Steel Producing Technology Manager at ArcelorMittal USA from January 2012 to September 2014. Ataman holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration and Management from Medaille University and a degree in Materials Science with a focus on Metallurgical Engineering from Michigan Technological University.
