Denise Chavez, PMP, has extensive work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Denise began their career at Toshiba America Information Systems, where they worked as a Business Programmer Analyst and later as a Sr. Business Programmer Analyst. Their responsibilities included designing and developing IT applications, maintaining existing applications, and providing support for various distribution processes. Denise also served as a Business Systems Analyst, collaborating with stakeholders to determine business and system requirements and creating project design documents.

After their time at Toshiba, Denise joined United Health Group as a Senior Business/Systems Analyst, where they focused on analyzing business needs and implementing solutions. Denise then moved on to Southern California Edison as a Project Support Analyst/Business Analyst, providing project support and performing business analysis.

Denise also worked at Advantage 360 as an IT Project Manager, overseeing project management activities. Their role involved managing resources, creating project plans, and coordinating with team members and stakeholders.

Most recently, Denise held multiple positions at California Steel Industries, Inc. (CSI). Denise started as a Sr. Process Analyst, leading the Legacy Replacement Project and supporting the implementation of PSImetals MES software. Denise was then promoted to Lead Software Engineer, where they developed and implemented solutions for capital projects and managed upgrades for PSImetals MES software.

Throughout their career, Denise has demonstrated strong leadership and organizational skills, as well as expertise in project management, software implementation, and business analysis.

Denise Chavez, PMP holds a Certification in Computer Programming from the Computer Learning Center, which was obtained between 1993 and 1994. In addition, they have obtained other certifications including Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in November 2006 and ICAgile Certified Professional from Cprime Learning in January 2023.
