Donato C. is an accomplished conductor and music director with extensive experience in numerous prestigious orchestras and opera companies. Since July 2013, Donato C. has served as the Artistic Director and Music Director of California Symphony. Prior engagements include Music Director of the Las Vegas Philharmonic from April 2014 to July 2024, and Resident Conductor of the San Francisco Symphony from June 2009 to July 2016. Additional roles encompass music directorships at the New Hampshire Music Festival and assistant and associate conducting positions at renowned institutions including Lyric Opera of Chicago, Metropolitan Opera, San Francisco Opera, and more. Donato C. holds a Master's degree in Conducting from the Manhattan School of Music and a BA in Music from the University of Nevada, Reno.
