Janis Green

Janis Green is an experienced educator with a diverse background in teaching and management. Currently serving as a Kindergarten Teacher at California Virtual Academies since January 2022, Janis previously held various teaching roles including First Grade Teacher and Substitute Teacher at Tracy Unified School District from March 2009 to November 2021. Janis also contributed as a Substitute Teacher for Jefferson School District and served as an AIP Teacher at Ceres Unified School District, providing after-school interventions. Prior teaching experience includes a position as a Student Teacher at Hawkins Elementary School. Janis's early career involved roles in sales and account management at Pacific Bell Communications, ALLNET USA, and Lady's Foot Locker. Janis holds a Master’s degree in Education from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Iowa.
