MaryNic Foster has a diverse work experience spanning across various industries and roles. MaryNic started their career as an Assistant Attorney General at the Illinois Attorney General's Office in 1989. MaryNic then moved on to become the Chairperson and Commissioner of the State of Illinois Executive Ethics Commission from 2008 to 2012, where they played a key role in promoting ethics in public service.

MaryNic then joined Cook County as the Executive Director and General Counsel of the Cook County Department of Human Rights, Ethics, and Women's Issues from 1992 to 2014. In this position, they oversaw the daily operations of the department and managed a staff of employees and legal counsel. MaryNic'sresponsibilities involved enforcing County ordinances and working with volunteer board members.

In 2014, MaryNic transitioned to the private sector and joined DS Smith, Plastics Division as the Director of Human Resources, Health, and Safety for the North American region. MaryNic was subsequently promoted to the role of Vice President of HR and Safety for North America and then promoted again in June 2018 to the Global Vice President of HR role. MaryNic was responsible for HR initiatives, compliance activities, and managing a team of HR professionals across North America, Europe, and Asia Pacific.

Most recently, MaryNic joined Caligor Coghlan Pharma Services in December 2020 as the EVP and Chief People Officer. In this role, they support all areas of the business and is responsible for decision-making and implementation of HR policies and practices. MaryNic oversees recruitment, talent management, employee relations, compensation, and organizational design for a growing pharmaceutical services company with employees located in the US and Europe.

MaryNic Foster obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Theology/Political Science from Loyola University Chicago in 1983. MaryNic later pursued a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from Loyola University Chicago School of Law and completed it in 1989.
